Oxford Schools Challenge - Child Terms & Conditions

I confirm that I am over 18 and am the legal parent/guardian of the registered child and agree for my child to take part in the Motiv Sports UK Oxford Schools’ Challenge, which takes place on Sunday 13 October 2024.

By agreeing to this waiver and consent I further confirm that: 

(a) I give my permission for my child to take part in the Schools’ Challenge; 

(i)The child is mentally and physically fit and does not suffer from any medical condition that the school is not aware of, that could affect their ability to participate in the Schools Challenge. Any related medical data or equipment required, will be on hand to the teacher in charge whilst at the Schools Challenge. 

(b) I understand and acknowledge that in taking part in the Schools’ Challenge, my child is doing do so at entirely their own risk and save for any liability for: (a) fraudulent misrepresentation; or (b) death or personal injury arising from negligence, I hereby irrevocably and unconditionally, on behalf of the child:

(i) waive, to the fullest extent permitted by law, the right to bring any form of claim that I or the child may have against Motiv Sports UK Limited (“Motiv Sports”) (and any of its officers, directors, employees, sub-contractors, sponsors, agents and affiliates) (together the “Relevant Persons”) in connection with or as a result of the child taking part in the Schools’ Challenge; and

(ii) release the Relevant Persons from any liability in respect of any such claim I or the child may have; and 

(c) I understand and acknowledge that goodie bags, which may contain food products, will be distributed to the child at the end of the final mile and I have informed the School of any allergies the child has.
