Join us for an iconic half marathon starting in Oxford’s Historic City Centre and passing some of the city’s most recognisable monuments and buildings.
Entries will go on sale at 4pm on Sunday 11 October at first come, first served. There are three ticket options available ‘Standard’, ‘Personalised’ and ‘Premium’ plus a new exciting bundle ticket for Cambridge and Oxford Half Marathons. More details on that bundle ticket can be found below.
2026 Runners and those who have ‘Registered their Interest’ will be invited to enter first. If any tickets are available after this, they will go on sale to the general public on Tuesday 13 October. To ensure you receive the entry link before the event sells out, we recommend registering your interest.

Oxford Half welcomes runners of every kind, from first-timers to experienced club runners chasing a personal best. It's an event built for a broad running community, not just the fastest in the field.
For many, Oxford Half is where their running story begins. First-timers can expect raucous crowds and an electric atmosphere all the way round the course, with the crowd's support carrying you through the final miles, something every experienced runner will tell you is worth its weight in gold.
Before the main event, local school children take on the Oxford Half Schools Challenge on Sunday morning, ahead of the adult race starting on Mansfield Road.

For the first time, the Cambridge Half Marathon and Oxford Half Marathon are coming together.
Run both races as one journey - Cambridge on 14 March 2027, Oxford on 10 October 2027. Earn a combined medal, an exclusive t-shirt and race bib design, and access to shake-out runs at both events, all found only in this Challenge.
250 places go on sale 30 September, when Cambridge Half entries open. The remaining 250 follow on 11 October, when Oxford Half entries open. Pre-register for each event ahead of its on-sale date to secure access.
